Silver Summit 2008, the sixth annual gathering of the world's best and brightest silver mining, exploration and investment minds, will convene Thursday, Sept. 18th at the Coeur d'Alene Inn in the lakeside resort city of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
The Thursday-Friday main event will be flanked by Wednesday workshops at the Coeur d'Alene Inn and weekend festivities in the great silver-mining city of Wallace, Idaho.
Keynote speakers include Jeffrey M. Christian, managing director of the CPM Group; “Trader Roger” Wiegand of Trade Tracks Stocks; David Morgan, of the Morgan Report (formerly Silver-Investor); James Turk, founder of GoldMoney; Bill Murphy, chairman of the Gold Anti-Trust Committee (GATA); author Norm Franz; Liberty Dollar founder Bernard von NotHaus; and Alexander Korelin, founder of A.B. Korelin & Associates and host of the popular radio program, the Korelin Economics Report.
Some 50 silver companies representing the bulk of the world's primary silver production, along with their CEOs, will be on hand to visit with the estimated 800 investors and silver bugs who attend the Silver Summit.
“This may be an off year for precious metals, but it certainly hasn't dampened enthusiasm for the Silver Summit,” said Summit director Shauna Hillman. “Our booth space has been sold out for almost a year, and we anticipate attendance to equal or surpass last year's Summit, which was our largest event ever,” Hillman added.
Mine tours and specialists' workshops will fill out this year's Silver Summit. Registration is free with a $25 yearly membership in the Silver Valley Mining Association, and may be accomplished at: thesilversummit.com, or by telephoning 208.556.1621 during Pacific Time business hours.
