Vancouver, British Columbia – December 7, 2011 – Huldra Silver Inc. (TSX-V:HDA, HUSIF.PK) (the "Company" or "Huldra") is pleased to provide geochemical results from the 2011 exploration program at its Treasure Mountain project. The results included 124 grams per tonne Ag, 3.98 ozs/ton Ag, 0.79% Pb, 0.32% Zn, 0.78% Mn and 17.3 ppb Au in sample 315 from the Camp Zone.
The Company conducted a geochemical sampling program consisting of 671 samples focusing on two primary targets: the MB Zone and the Camp Zone. The MB Zone is approximately 800 metres northwest of the current Treasure Mountain mine workings. Surface samples were taken from an exposed area of fractured argillite in 2010 and assays were reported as high as 9,221g/t Ag (August 25, 2010 press release). The Camp Zone is in an area where a geochemical testing program conducted in 1996 identified a large soil anomaly below the Jensen Portal extending up to 1000m from the existing mine workings. Three of the samples from this program exceeded 100 grams per tonne Ag.
Maps of the geochemical results can be viewed on the Company website at: http://www.huldrasilver.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/Treasure-Mountain-Geochemistry-Soil-Maps-2011.pdf.
Ryan Sharp, President and Chief Executive Officer, states, "We are extremely pleased with these results as they help to further outline the exploration potential of the Treasure Mountain property. We are currently evaluating potential geophysical programs for the entire 7000 acre property to be used in conjunction with the results from these two zones in determining drill targets for 2012."
Laboratory Procedures and Quality Assurance
Soil samples were dried at 60 degrees C and sieved to -80 mesh. A 15 gram sample was digested by Aqua Regia and finished by inductively coupled plasma (ICP) mass spectrometry technique. All laboratory work was performed by Acme Analytical Laboratories Ltd's facility in Vancouver, BC.
